The betibo restaurant, established in the 1960’s with the conversion of a centuries old farmhouse and outbuildings, has been beautifully restored. All amenities, bathrooms, wiring, and heating and air-conditioning were remodeled or replaced in 2013/2014. Capital expenditures are expected to be lessened as a result.
The well equipped, chef designed, commercial kitchen is already in place and allows for the production of top of line food products. Ranked as one of Denia’s most popular, the restaurant can accommodate 65 inside. Two wood burning fireplaces help set the mood when weather permits. A 200 seat sheltered patio and bar with views to the nearby terraced hillsides is ideal for larger functions and dinning on long summer evenings. The terrace is partially covered by retractable awnings and umbrellas.
A secondary bar, restaurant, and small kitchen space will be included as part of the main hotel development which, it is anticipated, will provide services for resident guests.
The currently fully licensed restaurant has enjoyed a great history and a solid reputation. The logo is a stylized graphic representation of the timeless Betty Boop and has been used since inception. Utilizing the well established, recognizable name and logo is a "nod" to the property's rich and characterful history, and to the community.
